UGC NET December Result 2023: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has not declared the UGC NET results 2023 on the date announced earlier. According to the official notice, the UGC NET 2023 result was scheduled to be declared on January 17, 2024, however, the result link is not active yet. The UGC NET result 2023 for the December session will be hosted on the official websites- ugcnet.nta.ac.in, ugcnet.ntaonline.in, and nta.ac.in.

Students have been demanding the NTA to declare the NET results soon. The UGC NET exam 2023 for the December session was conducted from December 6 to 19, 2023. Over 9 lakh candidates have attempted the exam and are now awaiting the UGC NET 2023 result. Candidates who clear the exam with marks above the UGC NET Dec 2023 cut-off will be eligible for the post of Assistant Professor or a Junior Research Fellowship (JRF).

The scorecard and final answer key will also be available along with the UGC NET 2023 result. The UGC NET exam result is prepared based on the final answer key. After the announcement of the UGC NET result 2023, no grievance or other objections concerning the answer key will be entertained.

UGC NET December Result 2023 – overview

The UGC NET December 2023 result for the post of Assistant Professor is Valid for a lifetime. However, the UGC NET result for the Junior Research Fellowship is valid for 3 years. To qualify for the JRF candidates must have attempted both papers and scored an aggregate of 40% for general category candidates and 35% for reserved category candidates.

Students have started demanding the NTA to declare the UGC NET results for December session 2023. One of the aspirants, Mangaleshwar Maurya, wrote on X: “NTA stands for National Tension Agency. This is an organisation, which government established to aggravate tension, anxiety and depression among UGC NET aspirants. Once again NTA has proved its aims and objectives by not releasing the UGC NET Results on its given date 17 Jan 2024.”
